Instep School of Dance Inc. Policies and Release of Liability
Tuition
Our dance term is a 9 month program running from the first Saturday after Labour Day to the first weekend in June. We do not offer sessional classes for children. A registration fee will be charged on enrollment. Tuition for each class is to be paid in 3 equal installments due on September 1st, December 1st and March 1st. Your credit card will be automatically debited on these dates. Instep will send out email reminders of outstanding balances. Late fees may be subject to a 10% charge.

Classes run for 9 months from September to May. Registration is online through our website. Payment is by credit card. A registration fee will be charged upon registering for a class/classes and the balance remaining will be broken down into 3 equal payments in the following amounts:
September, October, November (Due September 1st)
December, January, February (Due December 1st)
March, April, May (Due March 1st)

Withdrawals
30 days written notice (via email) is required to withdraw from a class. There will be no refunds for part months. No refunds will be issued after February 28th.
Class Cancellations
Instep reserves the right to cancel or change classes and instructors due to sickness, extreme weather conditions, low enrollment, etc. There are no refunds for a student missing class.
Recital
Instep holds one year end recital the first weekend in June at the Wright Theatre of Mount Royal University. A dress rehearsal will be held one evening before the recital and two shows will be performed on recital day. Attendance is mandatory for both the dress rehearsal and the two performances. One costume per class is required to be purchased and this amount, up to $80 per costume, will be debited from your credit card in May. All costume sales are final. If you do not wish to participate in the recital you must provide written notice (via email) to the office by January 31st and receive email confirmation from the office that your email was received. If written notice is not received by the office you are deemed to be participating in the recital and will be responsible for paying for the costume(s). Tickets will be sold online through the website. All tickets are final sale. Tickets not picked up 15 minutes before the start of the show will be released for general sale and no refunds will be provided in such cases.
Communication
Communication to parents will be conducted through the website, newsletters and email. Valid email addresses are to be maintained by families through their online accounts.
Holidays
Instep will be closed for all statutory holidays and a Christmas and Spring break. These dates will be listed on the website.
Liability
There are specific risks of physical or property damages, losses, or injury that may result from participation in classes with Instep School of Dance Inc. Parents/Guardians agree to release Instep School of Dance, its instructors, independent contractors, other participants/students and owners from all liabilities, claims, actions and damages of any nature which may arise from participation in classes or events with Instep School of Dance Inc.

- 45 minute class - $44.50/month
- 60 minute class - $49.75/month
- Multiclass discount - If a student is registered in 4 or more classes, a 10% discount will be given.
